GDM update in relation to COVID-19 situation

Dear Customers,

this message is meant to give you an update on how the COVID-19 situation is evolving in Italy in those last days given the new measures taken by our government, as well as the actions we are consequently putting in place in order to continue our business activities.

Following the new decree issued on March 22nd, in order to minimize contacts among people and with them the risk of increasing contagion from COVID-19, all Italian companies will remain closed starting from 23rd March to 3 rd April 2020, with the exception of those companies that are considered essential (food, pharmacies, healthcare and few more). "Coesia Group" companies, and consequently GDM, will close temporarily their plants in Italy for the same period.

Nevertheless, we would like to inform you that thanks to the activation of the smart working, all our employees (from Sales to Customer Service, Project Management, Finance and even Engineering) are working at home, managing daily activities and customers support.

The situation is unexpected, serious and needs to be managed in accordance with governmental indications, but we are managing our activities to avoid any delay in our current projects, giving prompt answers to all our customers' needs and assuring support and fast actions to all of them. As explained, being all the deparments operative, we do not expect any kind of negative impact (neither in processes nor in lead time) for our projects due to these two closing weeks. Furthermore we are working minimize potential impact on spare parts supply.
