GDM was founded in 1986, inheriting the business from two formerly existing Italian companies: Tekma and Nuova Red Italiana.
Eversince, we have been successfully researching, designing, and manufacturing machinery for Disposable Hygiene products, offering our expertise to customers worldwide.
In 1995 Coesia acquires and merges the two companies. GDM was officially born.
In 1999 GDM acquires the engineering department of a multinational disposable hygiene manufacturer, leveraging the know-how of an engineering team with more than 50 years of history.
GDM widens its activity. On the one hand, it establishes technical support branches in USA, Brazil, Turkey and Vietnam.
On the other hand, GDM expands its portfolio with packaging solutions, offering turnkey solutions to its customers who can now benefit of a singole source supplier.
GDM transitions from being a manufacturing company focused on converting and packaging to a 360° partner offering full-plant solutions across industries.
